Visiting the website
The website is hosted by Netlify. Delivering pages, showing accommodation availability and securing the service may involve processing technical request data such as IP address, date and time, requested page and browser information. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating and securing the website. We do not collect these details through a website form.
Enquiries and contact
If you call, email or open WhatsApp, we process the information you choose to send (such as your name, contact details, accommodation and requested dates) to answer and handle your enquiry. The legal basis is taking pre-contractual steps at your request; legal obligations may apply if the enquiry proceeds further. Dates and guest numbers selected on the website are added to a WhatsApp message only when you choose to open it: the website does not send enquiries or bookings automatically. When you open WhatsApp, its own privacy policy also applies.
Maps and external content
Property pages load map tiles from OpenStreetMap; some temporary guide images load from the websites credited beside them. Opening a page with this content may send technical request data, including your IP address, to those providers. Links to Google Maps, external businesses and WhatsApp open only if you choose them. Analytics and cookies
We use Umami Cloud for website statistics: pages visited, estimated visitor numbers, country of origin and referring website. The service is provided by Umami Software, Inc. and loads a script from cloud.umami.is. The Europe data region has been selected for this website in Umami. According to Umami’s documentation, tracking does not set cookies; the IP address is used to determine location and anonymous identifiers but is not stored as such. We use these statistics to understand how the website is used. We do not use profiling or advertising cookies.
Retention and your rights
We keep communications for as long as needed to respond and manage any resulting relationship, and longer only where required by law or needed to protect our rights. Service providers apply their own retention periods to technical data. You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or object where the law provides for these rights by writing to the address above. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante).
